"So, you want to start a public RISO space in Boston?" is a zine meant to be distributed for free as a means of resource sharing on all things RISO for Boston folks. As of this zine’s publication date, there are still no publically accessible RISO printing spaces in Boston; all RISOs in the city are kept within institutions. Ava’s goal through this zine is to spread information on what Riso machines are, while also passing along all the know-how she’s learned from other RISO folks. In the true nature of the Zine, Ava’s hope is that free resource distribution will empower Bostonian creatives to learn about RISO printing and eventually start their own public spaces in the city and beyond!
